The Amherst FRC is collaborating with the Union 28 Community Network for Children program and Leverett Elementary School, funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant, to invite parents to join a supportive and practical six-week class designed for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-5 to learn positive parenting techniques, age-appropriate discipline, emotional development strategies, and how to navigate common challenges like tantrums and routines.
Where: Leverett Elementary School, 85 Montague Rd, Amherst
When: Thursdays (September 11, 18, 25 and October 2, 9, 16). Pizza dinner from 5:45-6:15 p.m. and workshop and childcare from 6:15-7:45 p.m.
