Get Ready for Children's Mental Health Week

Green ribbon

The Parent/Professional Advocacy League (PPAL), in collaboration with the Department of Mental Health and the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership, will be observing Children's Mental Health Week from May 7-13.

Children's Mental Health Week was originally developed in Missouri created by a group of parents to fight stigma and raise awareness about the challenges our children, youth and families face when it comes to mental health.

PPAL has created a toolkit that contains the following for Children's Mental health Week:

  • Welcome letter
  • Calendar of events for the month of May
  • Calendar of facts
  • Poster, bookmark and timeline
  • 2017 handout
  • Green ribbons
  • An invitation to PPAL's conference on May 19, 2017

If you would like a toolkit, please email Erin ( at PPAL with your mailing address information. Or visit this website to learn more about Children's Mental Health Week.
