The FRC Network Training Manager reports on the School Liaison Cohort Meeting

Exterior of a school

In an effort to address the unique educational and networking needs of different staff positions at the FRCs, we have recently begun implementing a role-specific cohort meeting model. We are pleased to report that the first School Liaison Cohort Meeting, held on July 19thin Southborough, was a great success. At this meeting, feedback from School Liaisons across the state drove an ambitious first agenda that included opportunities to share challenges, successes, and strategies for advancing their work, discuss goals for the position, make meaningful connections, and prioritize training needs. School Liaisons overwhelmingly reported that this meeting was a positive experience and a valuable use of their time. See what some of your colleagues had to say:

  • “I am better able to understand my role as a School Liaison.”
  • “Agenda topics [were] on point.”
  •  “Meeting others and learning from them” was the most helpful part.
  • “A step in the right direction. Thank you for this great networking opportunity to connect.”
  • “Great learning experience and I look forward to them in the future.”

We are excited to offer this networking and learning opportunity quarterly moving forward. Keep an eye out for the next addition to the developing cohort meeting model; the Clinician/Family Partner Cohort Meeting will be coming soon!
