Family Resource Centers have once again been recognized for their work in aiding the relief effort for Puerto Ricans effected by Hurricane Maria. In this article from Wicked Local: Hingam, director of the Quincy Family Resource Center Bryna Rogers, talks about how FRCs have collaborated with state governments to address needs as they emerge.

“The state has a network of Family Resource Centers and is utilizing this network, already in place, as the clearinghouse to begin addressing emerging needs,” states Bryna, “to date we have met with five families that include a total of 12 children, to meet immediate needs. We are doing everything we can to individually help each family get what they need.”
